15 years experience in the field of Plant Bio-technology: 10 years experience in teaching and 5 years research experience in plant tissue culture. The present areas of research interest are Plant Tissue Culture- In vitro conservation, Hairy root cultures, In vitro production of secondary metabolites, Somatic embryogenesis, in vitro cytotoxiicity.Somatic hybridization, Biochemical (Isozyme) and molecular markers. Presently engaged in tissue culture and in vitro conservation of medicinal plants and their characterization using chemical and molecular marker
