Research Experience / Expertise

Started research in 2007 as Junior Research Fellow at Center for Water Research Development and Management (CWRDM), Calicut.  Later, worked as Senior Research Fellow (2009-2010) at the Department of Veterinary Parasitology, College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Pookode, Kerala. Obtained Ph.D. Degree in 2014 from University of Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain. After PhD, served as Research Associate at Center for Ethnopharmacology, College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Pookode, Kerala. Currently working as Scientist at the Phytochemistry Division, Centre for Medicinal Plants Research (CMPR), Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal, and engaged in the phytochemical studies of medicinal plants. Author of 18 research papers and 24 seminar/symposia/conference abstracts. Area of research interests are Ethanopharmacology, Isolation and structural elucidation of bio active compounds, Heterogeneous catalysts and Catalytic oxidative reactions.
